Diary Entry #2

Dear Diary, I have been living in America for quite some time now my life has definitely changed. i now know a lot more than what little I used to know. My life has not been the same ever since Christopher Columbus took us away. At this point, people have explained to me what equal rights are, but we haven't even had any rights. They say the U.S. has been trying to give citizens equal rights. John Locke was a huge part of this because he wanted for people to have rights, natural rights to life, liberty, and property. When I found out that they had added the bill or rights it did not seem fair or equal to me at all. Why? because women do not have any rights neither do the natives including myself, Kora. Slaves had no rights either. I just cant believe how they want everyone to have equal rights, but yet they aren't being fair to everybody who is living in the U.S. As for the colonists they would look at the military troops as a threat to their freedom, I heard that they fear of having them place power in their hands. The colonists came to England to form towns. They built 13 towns over there and fought England.
